In 2019 Family Dental acquired an iTero Element 2 scanner. This advanced intra-oral scanner captures thousands of pictures inside the mouth and assemble them into a precisely accurate 3d model of the mouth, teeth and gums. This process utilizes only visible light and there is no exposure to ionizing radiation (x-rays)
